I was born and raised in a small town in Illinois before moving to Missouri with my two children. We have been residents of Town and Country since 2019 and enjoy hiking at the local parks, trying fantastic restaurants, checking out the local golf courses, and we’ve recently taken up snow skiing at Hidden Valley! I spent 15 years in the lubrication industry with Valvoline before following my passion of helping people directly. I have always been committed to community involvement but my commitment to help people understand insurance, came from a very personal experience. In 2018, I woke up with a pain in my left shoulder/neck and after a very scary emergency surgery, I was blessed that someone decided to be an organ and tissue donor which gave the surgeon the ability to rebuild the disc in my neck. I did not have an injury, I just woke up one morning and my life changed forever. I was not able to work for 8 months, which as a single mom was a serious worry. The main concern in mind in that moment, “How do I take care of my children if I can’t work?”. If I had not checked the box on the available insurance coverage through my employer and paid that extra $8 a month, my financial future, my family’s way of life, and so much more would have never recovered. I had the support of some wonderful people that got me through a very difficult time in my life and that is what drove me to make a change in career. My life’s work was always meant to be taking care of others and now I have the ability to make a difference in lives every day!

My request of you is please don’t be offended when I ask “How would you take care of your family if you wake up and can’t work for 8 months?” I ask because I care and I can give you the piece of mind to answer that question!
